City guide

St. Louis

The Grove's bars on Manchester Avenue, corner taverns on the South Side, and two Prides a year.

Most of gay St. Louis nightlife is in the Grove, a stretch of Manchester Avenue in Forest Park Southeast where Just John and Prism are a short walk apart and Rehab is just off the strip on Chouteau. The rest are neighborhood bars on the South Side, from the Grey Fox in Tower Grove South to Bar:PM in Carondelet. Pride comes twice: PrideFest downtown at the end of June, and a free, independent Pride in Tower Grove Park in September.

Bar:PM

Carondelet / S Broadway · 7109 S Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63111

A friendly far-south-side bar with something on most nights, and Hummel's Pub right next door. It suits a relaxed night out with locals more than a big club does.

This week in St. Louis

A quiet week in St. Louis

None of the groups we list meet in St. Louis in the next seven days, and nothing's on the events calendar. See groups in other cities, the bars, or ask in Everywhere Else what people are up to.

The whole week, day by day, including the quiet days.

Dates are in St. Louis time. Times are as each group lists them, monthly groups show only on the day they meet, and seasonal leagues play only in season, so check the group's site before you go. Nobody pays to be listed.

Pride & big events

PrideFest is downtown in late June (2027 dates TBA). In 2026 it was June 27–28 at Tucker Blvd and Market St ($10 for the festival), and the free Grand Pride Parade went down Market St at noon on Sunday, in its 46th year. Tower Grove Pride is free and in September (2026: Sept 26–27).

First time going? Your first Pride covers going solo, what to bring, heat and crowds.

Moving tips

  • The Grove is walkable from one end to the other. The Grey Fox and Bar:PM are a rideshare south.
  • Metro's rail fare is $2.50 in cash and a one-day bus and rail pass is $5. The Transit app sells tickets and passes on your phone.
  • Late June can be very hot: the 2026 parade ran in the middle of a weeklong heat wave. Bring water.
  • Just John stays open until 3am Tuesday to Saturday, so the Grove is the place for a late night.
