This board is for wherever you are: not out to anyone, out to a few people, newly out at 40, bi and tired of explaining, or out for years and helping someone else.

• No pressure, ever. Nobody here gets to tell you when or whether to come out.
• Safety first. If coming out could cost you housing, income or safety, it's okay to wait. See the coming out guide for scripts and support lines.
• Be specific when you ask. Age range, who you're thinking of telling, and what you're worried about all help people give advice that fits.
