Planning tips
- Book lodging first. Ski-week rooms near the action go months ahead.
- Check your pass. Aspen Snowmass, Deer Valley and Mammoth are on Ikon; Whistler Blackcomb and Park City are on Epic. Confirm for your season before you buy lift tickets.
- Altitude is real. Drink water, go easy the first night, and expect alcohol to hit harder.
- Can't ski? Go anyway. Après, spas and parties are half the point.
