A run club, a chorus or a game night gives you something to do together and the same faces every week, so by the third visit people know your name. OutClimb makes climbing easier to get into for trans and queer people: free, beginner-friendly meetups at most Twin Cities gyms, plus outdoor trips and mentoring. The Minneapolis Bouldering Project meetup is on the first Thursday, and other gyms host on other nights, so check the calendar. First-timers get a free day pass there; after that it's $12 plus tax, shoes included.
