Where to stay in Puerto Vallarta
Most gay travelers stay in the Zona Romántica, where Los Muertos beach, the Blue Chairs stretch and the bars are all within a few blocks of each other. November to April brings dry, sunny weather, and Vallarta Pride in May fills the gay hotels early.
Casa Cúpula
Amapas, above the Zona Romántica
A long-running gay-owned boutique hotel on the hillside, with bay views, several pools, a bistro, a spa and a gym. It suits guys who want a resort feel a short walk uphill from the beach and bars.
